About the Photographer

JoAnne Meeker is a fine art photographer who is photographing today's "Old West". Trained as an artist, she photographs with the eye of a painter. Three years in perfecting her own process, she has developed a unique style that has quickly gained popularity across the USA and Canada. Most recently, she was awarded a corporate account with Dow AgroSciences, as the Grand Prize of a newly developed campaign, "Capture Your Pride" being promoted across Canada throughout 2007. Meeker studied Fine Art at the University of Kansas, The Kansas City Art Institute, and the Art Institute of Southern California. Currently, she lives in Riverside, California and travels the country, with commissions and exhibiting her work. Her international commission and corporate list includes: Dow AgroSciences - Calgary, Alberta; and other ranches in Canada, California, New Mexico, Texas, Montana and Wyoming.
